The fundamental premise of the Sinfonia Varsovia Centrum project is to create a unique facility centred on music for the residents of Warsaw and for visitors to the city.
This ambitious task is being implemented by the Sinfonia Varsovia - a local authority cultural institution, thanks to finanacial support of the organising entity - the Capital City of Warsaw under the Integrated Programme for the Revival of the Capital City of Warsaw.
This will be a place to fulfil many functions. It will enable organisation of of various events connected with the activity of the institution and make it possible for the residents of Kamionek and Warsaw to spend their leisure time at the Centre.
On 5 April, a contract for the execution of the first stage of the Sinfonia Varsovia Center project was signed at Sinfonia Varsovia’s headquarters during a press conference attended by the Mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski. The spectacular construction in Warsaw’s Praga district will be done by the DORACO Construction Corporation.
At the beginning of April 2021, we accepted the last part of the design documentation, including detailed design and technical specifications for the conversion of five historic buildings of the former Institute of Veterinary Medicine, the designs of a new building with a concert hall, a frame, and a garden on the 2.6-hectare area used by Sinfonia Varsovia.
14 June 2018 Council of Capital City of Warsaw adopts resolution introducing changes in the city budget to enable acceptance of construction design and submission of application to obtain a construction permit for the construction of Sinfonia Varsovia Centrum.
