Updated project timetable:

14 June 2018 – Council of the Capital City of Warsaw adopted the resolution amending the municipal budget, which enabled us to approve the building permit design and apply for a building permit for the Sinfonia Varsovia Center,
11 July 2018 – Sinfonia Varsovia approved the building permit design created by Atelier Thomas Pucher,
April 2019 – obtaining of a building permit,
April 2021 – completion of design works,
early 2022 – commencement of construction works,
early 2024 – completion of the first stage of construction works and opening of the three front buildings on Grochowska Street
2026 – completion of the second stage of construction works and opening of the concert hall

Construction of Sinfonia Varsovia music center kicks off

On 5 April, a contract for the execution of the first stage of the Sinfonia Varsovia Center project was signed at Sinfonia Varsovia’s headquarters during a press conference attended by the Mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski. The spectacular construction in Warsaw’s Praga district will be done by the DORACO Construction Corporation.

Completion of Design Works

At the beginning of April 2021, we accepted the last part of the design documentation, including detailed design and technical specifications for the conversion of five historic buildings of the former Institute of Veterinary Medicine, the designs of a new building with a concert hall, a frame, and a garden on the 2.6-hectare area used by Sinfonia Varsovia.

We are very happy to hear of the Council of the Capital City of Warsaw adopting a resolution changing the city’s budget to allow us to approve the construction design and submit an application to obtain a construction permit to build the Sinfonia Varsovia Centrum, and subsequently to let a tender intended to select the general contractor of the construction works.

The Kamionek district is witnessing the birth of the Sinfonia Varsovia Centrum – a new musical location for Warsaw, centred around the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra. The next stage of the work is complete, the result being an approved conceptual design.
